The Mustek Scanning Interface:

The Mustek 600 pro comes with its own easy to use software interface* for the PC as shown below. You can leave the scanner permanently attached to your computer so that when the scanner lid is lifted, an image placed on the scanner glass and then the lid closed, the Mustek "Green Panel" interface will automatically appear on your monitor. It consists of 5 main buttons that are used to :

• Linking applications to the panel (such as PhotoExpress etc)

* Please note - the Scanning Interface is only available for PC. MAC users have to use third party software (such as Adobe Photoshop or ImageAcquire <free>) to operate the Mustek 600 pro.



A True Twain Scanner:

A Twain compliant scanner is a scanner that is standardised for use across different computer hardware and software applications such as Microsoft Paint, Adobe PhotoShop, etc.

The 600 pro is fully Twain compliant and can be used with any software that is also Twain compliant. The 600 pro can also Batch scan several images at once. For example, if you are scanning multiple small images (such as photos), the mustek can scan a few at a time. Batch scanning is also an easy way to multi-scan any part of your document using different scan modes and resolutions. In batch scanning, you can specify up to a maximum of 30 scan regions, or you can scan a single region several times using different combinations of scan modes and resolutions.

Warranty:

The Mustek 600 pro comes with a full 1 year Return-to-Base (RTB) warranty. If you should ever experience any issues with the scanner within this period, you can call us direct. Our techincal team will run through a number of trouble shooting questions with you initially and if we can't work it out over the phone, we'll get you to ship it back to our Brisbane office and we'll repair/replace it and send it back to you direct. That being said, we have been selling Mustek products for over 10 years now and have only ever had a handful of returns in that whole time.
