|
| |
The
Cpen 20 replaces the highly popular Cpen 10 handheld scanner. The C-Pen

data into any host application. With a simple scan the C-Pen 20 reads 167
languages based on Latin, Cyrillic or Greek character set. The C-Pen 20
reads printed text and sends it directly to the cursor in the active application
on your computer. The C-Pen20 also supports several 1D barcodes us well
as OCR-A, OCR-B and MICR character sets.
Featuring an auto-trigger, the user simply puts the C-Pen towards the surface
with the printed text and the pen automatically enters into scanning mode.
The C-Pen 20 comes with host software, which is divided into three parts:
The C-Pen 20 SDK, the Abbyy FineReader OCR and the C-Pen 20 User Interface
providing a turn key user solution, featuring user selective scan type (e.g.
text/barcode). scan language etc. Simply plug your C-Pen 20 into a USB port
on your computer and let C-Pen 20 start saving you time and effort. You
can read text and numbers directly into PC applications, move easily between
reader and mouse functions without releasing the pen, and even customize
your mouse pad to connect quickly and easily to your favorite web pages
and start programs.
The C-Pen 20 SDK enables very flexible third party application development.
Both The OCR Module and the User Interface are optional and are thus replaceable.

of additional character sets. The option to replace the standard User interface
enables a seamless integration into any third party vertical application.
