your laptop bag, for take- anywhere convenience. The V6 software displays cards in colour
or high resolution greyscale (when faster scanning is a priority) - either way, the image
shows the finest details. And with the CardScan.Net option, you can access your business
cards from anywhere in the world via the Internet.
Your hottest leads are the people you meet face to face, but what do you do with all
those business cards?
If you're like the rest of us, they're still waiting in the bottom drawer for you to type
them into your database or contact list. Or they sit in a little box or rolodex, tatty and
dog-eared from the countless times you've had to shuffle through them searching aimlessly
for a contact you "sort of" remember.
And the reason you don't get around to typing them in is because it's pure drudgery - after
about card 20 your eyes feel like they are popping out of your head and you can feel a
migraine coming on!
CardScan's intelligent Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software reads your business
card and places all of the information into the correct fields -just like an electronic
rolodex®. Say goodbye to data entry!
As long as people meet face to face, they will exchange business cards. In fact, business
cards have even more information than ever: name, company, logo, fax numbers, multiple
phone numbers, e-mail and web addresses, even handwritten notes. And business cards are
often the only source for this important contact information. CardScan gets your contact
information into your computer without data entry! And, CardScan saves and displays the
image of the card.
Features
Scan cards - no more time consuming data entry. You can even scan the back of the card as
well - great for double sided cards, or for quickly storing handwritten notes, or even for
storing 2 cards together.
QuickSearch makes it easy to find any contact by any information on the card.
Synchronise with Palm, Handspring Visor, IBM WorkPad, Windows CE Palmtops such as Ipaq,
Casio, and Jornada, and Psion.

message. Click on a contacts web site and AutoBrowse takes you directly there. Click on a
contacts address and AutoMap takes you to MapQuest, providing you with a map of the area
(not all countries).
Send faxes directly from WinFax Pro or FaxWorks Pro using CardScan as your address book.
Keep important Notes (and even search by these), such as when and where you met a contact,
for smart references.
Add notes and categories to a single card or entire batches of cards while scanning.
Print for any format: labels, envelope, calendars, Day-Timer, Filofax, Rolodex and more.
It's no trouble to use CardScan with a word processor, such as Microsoft Word, to Mail
Merge and create automatically addressed letters.
Network ready so everyone in your group can benefit.
CardScan.Net is an online address book. Simply save your CardScan file onto the secure
