Today,
digital equipment is really very good - for some things. However, Audient
believes that the 'digital' solution is not universally 'best'. Music
recording consoles are an example. For primary recording, the inadequacies
of existing digital formats are well recognised. DSD, 96kHz and 192kHz
all move the digital recording path a little closer to what is possible
with the best analogue signal processing.
The ASP8024 is the
result of a research and development programme that was driven by the
simple goal of establishing a new 'standard' in cost effective analogue
recording -delivering a product that is truly 'technology proof' while
at the same time providing the accepted and familiar functionality and
performance of existing 'high-end' large scale systems.
